Wall’s team manager John Michael Keynton happy to see Knights off to great start

April 16, 2012

Wall senior John Michael Keynton, a manager for the Crimson Knights girls softball team, thoroughly enjoyed the squad’s 8-1 victory over Ocean Township last Friday. [see related article in the Apr. 19 print edition of The Coast Star].

“I think they did very good,” said Keynton, after the game.  “There were some good plays at the beginning of the game.”

Keynton, who has been a fixture with the program over the past four seasons, is excited that Wall, now 8-0, is off to such a great start in 2012.

“I’m very happy,” he said.

Keynton is already looking ahead to the team’s next opponent.

Tomorrow, the Crimson Knights will take on the Dragons of Brick Township at 3:30 p.m.

“I think we should be able to beat them,” Keynton said.
