Saito now stands alone as Manasquan home run king

April 6, 2011

With a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning, during the Warriors 6-4 victory over Point Pleasant Borough today,  junior first baseman Tyler Saito became the all-time career home run leader of the Manasquan High School baseball program.  Saito’s 13th  career blast [first of 2011] broke his tie with former Manasquan High School left fielder Sean Rydholm, who played from 1989-1992.

The Coast Star would like to congratulate Tyler on his accomplishment.
